Admin nuggethunting Posted December 24, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted December 24, 2010 Hello All, Here is a nugget a recently found just sitting on the clay layer a couple inches thick, right on top of schist bedrock. The nugget just about blew my ears off when I passed over it. The weight of the nugget was 2.2 Dwt's, but very large and flat (a lot of surface area). I found it with the Minelab GPX5000 and Coiltek Goldstalker Mono Searchcoil during some exploring. By the looks of the area, some others were exploring here also, but ..... Admin nuggethunting Posted December 24, 2010 Author Admin Report Share Posted December 24, 2010 Hey Flak, Thanks for the comments. I wish I had more free time. I have too many projects going on besides the normal family life. I'm involved with a Geologist working on a couple of gold projects down South now also, so that is also taking some of my time. Maybe I need a human clone I have a few more Youtube videos I will be posting tonight. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.Rob Allison

Admin nuggethunting Posted December 27, 2010 Author Admin Report Share Posted December 27, 2010 Hey Guys, The signal was very loud. With the GPX series, even small nuggets near the surface sound like big nuggets. When I first started using the GP and GPX series I had to get used to digging small nuggets that sounded like Monsters!
