2300 and headphone adapter
seeker replied to shep's topic in Gold Nugget Hunting & Prospecting Forum
Hi Guys This is kinda funny, a while back was lookinbg for a set of UW phones for the 2300, Minelabs not out yet and Gary Storm isnt making them for the Detector...Looked at the Kellyco Catalog as they were advertising UW phoners for the 3030 and 2300.....I asked the salesperson there about the phones and he said we have them, I said you do not, you have the phones for the 3030 only, they will not work on the 2300 the plugs are different, to make a long story short they discovered quicly that I was correct, the salesperson called me back and thanked me for the correction..In the mean time Minelabs became available and Minelab was good enough to fix me up quickly..........Will look into JP.s fix where can the article be seen??? The 6 is a real gold killer, take a small bucket with you cause some of the stuff will be hard to see, pan it out later..The bigger coils are a waste of time and money........Geo

Something I have always realized, it is the curious, good detectorist that bangs out the Big Ones... Something makes you pause and check, kick off some of the dirt or smooth the spot so you can get the coil flat on the ground.............Geo I have dug a lot of Deep coins at the beach in Hawaii with my Excal, no tone, just a break in the threshold -
