beatup
Got a nice one yesterday out in southwest Arizona . I was using the new 17x13 Z search coil hunting some washes we had found gold in before . This piece was under a couple of large rocks and because of the way the nugget was packed against the rock with it's edge facing up it was a very faint soft tone , i also know that since we have hunted these washes many times over the years since the 7000 came out the stock coil never saw this piece . It weighs just over 1/2 oz. .
Mike Furness
Hey Beatup ... long time my friend. Nice nugget. Same place as you and your brother hunted a few years back that you shared with me? Hope all is well with you. Not sure if you know or not but I moved back to NH. Same phone number for calls and text and same email.

Admin nuggethunting Posted February 11, 2023 Admin Report Share Posted February 11, 2023 Hey Beatup, What an amazing piece of gold. Congrats, just goes to show, just a inch or so can make a big difference. I have gotten a few with mine, but nothing like that yet. beatup
Rob , with the 17x13 NF coil i have found pieces that go from .16 of a gram up to that 1/2 oz piece ,so i will say a versatile coil it is.
