Ridge Runner
I don't know what your thinking is about this big meeting that Minelab is having for the weekend.I know for myself I keep checking each forum to see if anything has been posted by a dealer. It has been less movement on this forum than I've seen in a Funeral home after Rob left for the weekend. I may have to start taking viagra to hold up under this pressure of wanting to know.Chuck Anders

Minelab are renouned for their "NO REPONSE" attitude to the questions and problems raised & discussed on forums (where most prospectors talk openly and exchange ideas). This must be a policy of theirs, distancing themselves. Ignoring customers and customer service is bad policy. Hope the news from LA & ML is good and shows that they are listening to their US customers.Chuck, careful if you take Viagra. Don't fall over you might break something! PVGOLD
Hi Chuck, HuegoI agree, quiet around here, and elsewhere. I will share a little information.Last year I had the pleasure of meeting the past manager of the LV repairdepartment. He stated that he was required to check forums on a regular basisbut was not allowed to post or reply(company policy). That was when their customer service was considered to be excellent. I'm glad for him that he hasretired, and hope he is enjoying a far less stressful life. Dick Hope to see you out there and thanks for doing a stellar job in the faceof adversity. Admin nuggethunting Posted September 13, 2010 Admin Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 Hello All, I want to be the first to announce the Minelab Partners Conference in Las Vegas was top notch! Minelab really knows how to do it right and even at the Bellagio Resort and Casino. The new Minelab management and team have really impressed me along with all the other dealers at this conference. Nothing happens overnight, but I can tell you great things are in the pipeline. The Minelab staff (management and engineers) do follow this forum more than you might think. A matter of fact, at the Conference one of the staff asked me about a member on the forum. I'm not sure about the "No Response" topic, but what I can tell you is that Minelab is doing everything in their power to support the dealers, staff and end-users to their best ability. I strongly believe they are doing everything they can. I'm going to toss this out there, if you ever have a question and can't reach Minelab here in the US, allow me to help you channel your questions, comments or concerns to them. From research show this weekend, Minelab is the biggest hand-held metal detector manufacture and has the "best metal detection technologies" that are available. Unfortunately I'm only able to share so much, but this allows you to have an idea on what went down at the 1st Annual Minelab Partners Conference. Take care,Rob Allison
