wjbell
I went out today to a pit with manzanitaslayer from the board here. He's been taking me out to different places since I was interested his SD, kinda showing me the ropes. He got a nice nugget with his extreme, probably twice+ the weight of mine. But I got a decent 1/2 grammer with my GMT. Pretty good day. Good weather, fun out detecting and got some gold!

Admin nuggethunting Posted January 25, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted January 25, 2011 Hey Wj Bell, Congrats on your finds. Thanks for sharing it with us here. They all add up, I will take those nuggets all day. They are truely the "beans and bacon" of what is being found out there. Take care,Rob Allison

wjbell
Thanks guys it's always fun going out but it's real fun when you get something that shakes in a bottle nice RonGold: it was about three inches down in a bedrock crevasse and under water. It had a good sound to it, not faint but medium. One where you know it's something, gold or lead.Notorious Kelly: Sorry just now responding. I still need to figure out what I'm doing this weekend but it would be cool to meet and do some detecting maybe the weekend or early in the week.
