oldies1955
My dad found this at the quartzsite outing and we cant figure out what it is. Its about 8 inches long with a hollow tube. The bulbus end has some kind of guts in it. There is a little window on the top side with a rivit to the one side of the window. Almost like it had a cover that pivoted on it. Ive seen it somewhere on a vehicle before but just cant place it.Anyone have any ideas?Tom H.

nvradar
Well at first glance I thought my wiener dog had been to your yard. But actually have no clue.

explorer1
Hey Tom, It also reminds me of some kind of shifter. But that window throws me off. Maybe for a tractor that displays the gear it is in?
wdu3164
Hi tom. If the other end has a small "window" also, I think it might be a "push rod". The window would be for oil to flow through to oil a cam or rockerarm. Bill
