Admin nuggethunting Posted September 4, 2014 Admin Report Share Posted September 4, 2014 Hello All, I know some wanted some clarification on the Minelab 15% Military Discount. Yes, it's good for any Minelab Metal Detector, but you must read the information below to qualify -Minelab offers a 15% discount that is shared between the dealer and Minelab. How it works:Dealer Sells a Minelab Detector to a Military Vet or Active Duty for 15% off MAP priceDealer MUST verify the Military ID… all Military whether a Vet or Active Duty will have an IDDealer Submits the receipt showing discount to Minelab for a credit approval

Ridge Runner
From what it's worth department. I guess most get emails from Minelab on sales and what ever detector they want to push at the time. Well I sent them a email back to whom it may concern saying I didn't get a ID when I got out of the Military. You didn't need one because you couldn't go on base to buy anything anymore unless you retired from it are had something med. wrong. I also said that it would be great if Minelab would put up the 15% and let the dealer add 5%. I told them I wanted a SDC 2300 and with the 15% plus the 5% = 20% = 750.00 off = 3000.00 for the detector. I said to then that really has a great sound to it. I'm sure all us Vets can start sending our money to Rob to order a SDC 2300. The truth is Minelab will send EMS to my house saying I fall out of my tree on my head. The best to all! Admin nuggethunting Posted September 19, 2014 Author Admin Report Share Posted September 19, 2014 Hey Guys, Paul - Yes MAP on the GPX 5000 is $5795.00. The 15% gives you a pretty good discount on any Minelab, but more on the higher end ones. Chuck - I'm real surprise more haven't taken up the 15% deal. I have had a handful since the promo started, but I would guessing more would get in on this. Like I stated, 15% off several thousand dollars is worth it. way2cool
Rob I am surprised too, but I am more surprised that I haven't seen this 15% deal on the other forums.
Ridge Runner
way2cool I talk with another dealer and he told me he'd never heard of this Minelab 15% Military discount. Like I said in the pass I didn't get a Military ID when I got discharge. I did get the DD 214 showing I was in the Military and got a honorable discharge. I really don't know why I say Minelab discount when it should say the Dealer and Minelab discount. Oh well I didn't need Minelab's help in the past to buy a detector for me and I don't need them now.
