Bullit
Rob,That was fast, I sent an email on Friday and by Saturday the very adaptor I needed was available, outstanding. I bought 2.Warning to SDC owner's - I was on a trip in Manzanita land and the cyborg socket connector of the Minelab headphones failed. It has to be the most delicate part of the system. The headphone wire at the connector will not take much abuse. O.K., I am a little hard on things - the detector is awesome. The speaker worked as a backup, outstanding tough little machine.Have Fun,Rick

Bullit
Goldseeker,I am pretty sure this one is on me. I am used to the 5000 headphones and have gotten cavalier about pulling on them in the bushes.Have Fun,Rick
Admin nuggethunting Posted October 12, 2014 Author Admin Report Share Posted October 12, 2014 Hey Rick and all, I tried my adapter this weekend using the DetectorPro headphones. They worked great, but the audio wasn't as loud as on my GPX5000. However, I like the Black Widow's cause they eliminate all the outside noise that you get with the Koss UR30's. The adapter in general works great and struggling to keep them in stock. I have a few left with a big order already shipped and on the way if anyone needs them. Thanks for your business as always Rick.
Ridge Runner
Hey Rob I have the Black Widow's headphones that I got from you long time back. My thinking on them is they are the best for the money. I see you also have the carry bag for the SDC now and I need to get my money to you for both. Thanks!Chuck Anders
Admin nuggethunting Posted October 13, 2014 Author Admin Report Share Posted October 13, 2014 Hey Chuck, Yes, we always have the Black Widows as they are probably the best all around headphones I have used on the Minelab PI's and even the VLF's that I own. That being said, some feel they are too tight on their head and I agree they can be. I recommend when they are new to pull them apart a bit, not too much where you break them, but enough to make them looser around the top of your head. Yep, we have all the SDC accessories here in stock. That includes the new waterproof headphones, replacement KOSS headphones, coil covers, carry bags, replacement 600mah "C" batteries, the new headphone adapter and plenty of SDC for anyone looking.
