goldstudmuffin
When can the GPZ 7000 testers start talking? You should through in a free bottle of Geritol Tonic for digging those 3 foot holes!
AZ4AU
Hello Rob, Why is the Aust. price lower? They have them for 10700.00 and converted to US dollars that was 8329.62 last night.Mike

Admin nuggethunting Posted February 17, 2015 Author Admin Report Share Posted February 17, 2015 Hey Guys, Mike - Not sure why the Australian price is lower? It's normally higher, least it always has been. The retail here is $12499.00, MAP $9,999.00. Goldstudmuffin - Ya, don't leave them out in the open. I had a guy get a GPX 5000 stolen out of his truck, he was heartbroken over that. Never found out who did it, but was taken out in the field. Way2cool - Yes, other coil options as you mentioned. That being said, from what I was gold, the accessories are not available for sale yet. CoBill- No bundles right now. There really arent any products to bundle with it as it's so new. I'm offering the shipping/insurance, training and support all for Free for now.
gubelube
I wonder how easy coil change is with cord through shaft. can you order extra shafts for easy set up like we do on other detectors ?john
gubelube
I bet the aftermarket companies buy a few 7000s and start getting busy rt away for more coil options since its the new thing..
way2cool
John the other coil options come with the lower shaft.
gubelube
thanks, now I will wait and see the real test results. I guess if you bought a new 5000 and multiple coils you would end up spending that much back when the 5000 came out. so if one coil could out perform the 5000 and 2300 at depth and sensitivity then its a no brainer. but im with other on the 5000 with a gd gb2 or sdc 2300 for a combo. now that everyone is selling the 5000s very cheap.john
DOC
Two more days and I can talk about the technology which I think is just sheer genius.I've always been one of those guys who wants to know how it works, so I can understand why it works. And this innovation is brilliant. Once I try to explain it to you, hopefully you will understand why it goes 40% deeper.Doc
fredm
I am the opposite, Doc...while it is interesting to know the HOw and Why...I really dont care as long as the magic wand works!fred
Bearkat4160
When Gerry McMullen put his GPZ 7000 video on Youtube I made a comment jokingly, that this will be $10,000! I didnt think I would be right! I was just teasing - Oh well, that is my main rub with Minelab = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I can't wait for the GPZXX 15000, rumored to be $20,000! Yay. Roo
Finally, we in the country of its origin get the better price. All be it virtually half the price of a new car, or a third the price of a 4b
