californiagold
Hello I got out today for a short while with the Nokta Fors plus. Fors plus has an awesome smooth all metal mode and was able to rack up 14 pcs for 2dwt.

Admin nuggethunting Posted February 17, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted February 17, 2016 Excellent Finds CaliforniaGold. Have you tried a Minelab PI, or a PI in general at any of those locations?
californiagold
No Rob, I havent tried a pi there yet. I plan to hit it with the 5000 and 14" coiltek mono elite here soon. There is some deeper ground under the shallow stuff that I found. Im hoping to try out a 18" mono elite soon also on alot of deep ground gold producing areas. thanks

Mike Furness
CAGold ... Take a look at the Nugget Finder Evolution series. Those that have tested and those who are using both the the 12" round mono and the 17" elliptical mono are reporting tremendous sensitivity, little or no falsing and increased depth. In fact ... I was beat out while using my GPZ7000 by an experienced GPX5000 user using the 12" round evo mono going over the same area. I am beginning to believe the evo is the equalizer for those wanting a 7000 but owning a 5000! Just my take of course. Mike F

Admin nuggethunting Posted February 18, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted February 18, 2016 Hey CaliforniaGold, You currently have a Minelab PI? If not, you might want to contact me at some point Hopefully you have one already. There is a lot of talk about the new Coiltek 18-inch Mono Elite bridging the gap pretty close to the GPZ 7000 when using the GPX 5000 in some of the deep timings. I haven't personally tested it yet, but some of the Aussie's seem to believe so. That being said, I have tested the Coiltek 14-inch Mono Elite on a GPX 4500 and GPX 5000 against my GPZ. My finding were my GPZ was still getting better results. I probably would have been disappointed if the results I seen were just the opposite! californiagold
Yes Rob I bought my 5000 from you last march. I am definetly down for using a 18" mono elite soon. it seems that in aussie and videos that coiltek mono elites and nuggetfinder evo are really close in performance. I guess its just what brand you like. for me im a coiltek user.
Admin nuggethunting Posted February 19, 2016 Admin Report Share Posted February 19, 2016 Hey Californiagold, Damn what an embarrassment .... I thought you bought one from me. Just too many people to keep a log on anymore .... Ya, I think the 18-inch Coiltek Elite will be a great coil for more depth and coverage on the GPX series. Mike Furness
Adam ... Just for the record those folks that I have mentioned are people I know personally and I was either with them at the time or know that what they say is gold ... truthful and unabridged!
