kc goldbug2 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 ID like to say hi to all you guys and gails here at Nuggethunting.com...The name is karl and im new to the forum and fairly new to the USA......Iv been here in the Usa for 4 years now ,moveing here from England, I started life here in san diego CA, then after 6 months moved to Pahrump, I know alot of you are asking how the hell do u end up in Pahrump from ENGLAND lol, well its a long story, but hey this is now home and i love my new home and also the USA, ....Any i was a keen m/detecter in England with lots of call finds under my belt from canon balls to gold coins....So now im here in USA im still at it useing a gold bug2, and a home made dry washer with a built on honda engine for the power chain, Also i usa a sluice box... Id like to meet any others in my area here or even close buy to go on the hunt with, Iv had so luck here close buy and im happy to share my finds and locastion,s as im not a greedy person as theres plenty out there for all of us .....Ill post some pics soon if any one interested of the home made dry washer and maybe even some gold pics of gold found in my area...Any way nice to meet you all, happy hunting out there....karl Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Talk with you later,Rob AllisonHey RobIt was nice to get a welcome from at least one person here lol....with all the views i had ...ow well not to worrie lol...Any to anwser your question / yes i use all 3 of my tools while out in the hills depending on weather and were im going.....My best finds have been with a drywasher, and iv had some luck also with sluicbox and the Mdertor....We took a trommel up the other day and WOW WEE...what a good day that was with only tweenty 5 gallon buckets put throw it, 26 pickers and lots of fines..........Will be out friday with the drywasher in a wash we been working for some time now which is still perduceing colour....Thanks again for welcome m8.... FlakMagnet Posted October 15, 2009 Report Share Posted October 15, 2009 Hi Karl,Don't worry if you don't get too many replies to a post,that is not unusual, many people look in to take a quick lookand if they don't have anything to add, will move on.Pahrump.I used to work in the film business and we filmed a part of a film there (Rainman).It was so hot that my shoes actually left little faint footprints in the pavement on the side ofthe highway we were filming on. There is a club there , in Las Vegas, that is quite active, and has claims in the area. THe name is: GSSN >> Gold Searchers of So. Nevada. < They have a websiteWe have meetings the First Wednesday of each Month at 6:30 P.M., Located at: " The American legion Hall " 425 E. grubstake Posted October 15, 2009 Report Share Posted October 15, 2009 Well welcome to the forums, I would have posted sooner, but I know nothing about that area, and my wife had heart surgery last month and I had heart surgery just under tweo weeks ago, so we are still on the mend. but there plenty of people on this forum that are snowbirds, that I'm sure have hunted or been in that area.
