One of the Last High Country Hunts Before Oldman Winter Visits

Recommended Posts

Lucky, I have a large truck! We loaded up for a 55 miles drive to the 4600 foot level, to try our luck. It seems the Rookie of the bunch found the spot with the bigger nuggets, Paul you earned them! The rest of coils with the smaller nuggets are old pro's at our hobby. Yet, we may need to take a lesson or two from the guy with biggins! Until our next hunt!

Rob; This has been a very productive small hydro pit all Summer and looks to hold a few more for next Spring.

Benz: Rudy, if they'd made the road straight everyone would drive up to this spot...lol. Now, if we can make the hike less grueling both ways, we'd have it made! Paul, had a blast. I know BoarderBoy, wishes he was there too!
