Relichunter2
So after a year of having my Minelab....thanks Grubstake, I was wondering if their are wireless headphones that any of you would recommend. I have not researched this, so I thought I would ask you folks if any of you use them and how well they work for nugget hunting.
Relichunter2
Suppose no one uses them on this forum...
Gold Seeker
This has been discussed on some detecting forums in the past and the consensus was that most but maybe not all wireless headphones have a lag in the signal from the coil/detector to the headphones which will make you have a hard time locating the exact spot of the target. Relichunter2
Yup, that's true..this was discussed on forums...I just thought something new may be out that I have not heard of yet. Thanks for your response GoldSeeker.

Relichunter2
If the target response time is instant with no lapses it will be a great product and I am sure we will all be sporting wireless headphones. Until then, I will be sporting my detector pros....
adam
Just stick with the Detector Pro`s. The last thing you need is more batteries and crap to carry around. Keep it simple
Admin nuggethunting Posted May 18, 2014 Admin Report Share Posted May 18, 2014 Hey Guys, The ones I seen and used just briefly had a delay from when you received the target and when you actually heard the target. It was hard to get used to and I didn't like it. I can't say they all are like this, but the ones I seen were. This was about a year ago, so maybe something better has come out. If someone has seen a better wireless headset, please let us know. Thanks!
fredm
Ismael's system was liked by those that bought them at @ 400 Us dollars...now, he cannot source the parts and will not likely make anymore...the system on the ctx3030 is great, too bad they didnot put it into the 5000.fred
