Admin nuggethunting Posted January 14 Admin Report Posted January 14 Beautiful Gold you found there. Hope you find more, a nice patch or vein! Rob 2 Quote
fishing8046 Posted January 17 Report Posted January 17 A vein of gold the diameter of a pencil 10' long would weigh 2 pounds....🙂 4 Quote
AZNuggetBob Posted February 10 Report Posted February 10 beatup I have to say, I love the course nuggets you found the photo. I'm glad you pointed this out. I think where you found them is very important. I'm just going to say and I've said this before all the gold out there isn't always in the creek. thanks for sharing. AzNuggetBob 5 Quote
beatup Posted February 10 Author Report Posted February 10 yes sir Bob sometimes you just have to get out of the washes and work up high , and who knows there is always a possible big one on those slopes. 5 Quote
AZNuggetBob Posted February 29 Report Posted February 29 (edited) beatup it's not that occasional big one that keeps me hunting the hillsides, it's multi-pound patches. AzNuggetBob Edited February 29 by AZNuggetBob 6 Quote
andyy Posted March 9 Report Posted March 9 I'm not sure what is more impressive... the gold or the hands, showing the work that went into finding the gold. Nice work! 2 Quote
Mike Furness Posted June 20 Report Posted June 20 I've said many times that if you find gold in the wash or the flats you need to at least give the surrounding hillsides a go. Nice gold beatup! 3 Quote
AZNuggetBob Posted June 25 Report Posted June 25 Mike I like to think Gold is where you hunt it down too. AzNugetbob 3 Quote
fishing8046 Posted June 26 Report Posted June 26 Not sure which one of you guys I picked this up from but this image is always on my mind when I'm out detecting the hillside. But if I know AZNuggetBob he will have a better depiction. I still treasure his depiction of a gold vein at the top of a wash. 4 Quote
