  1. Hey Guys, I recommend sharing this with anyone if possible. Hopefully they catch these people. I hate thief's!
  2. Hey Uncle Ron, Remember the old NF Fiberglass coils. Man, they were super lightweight and very sensitive, but I had one crumble apart on me once I removed the first skidplate for replacement .....
  3. Hello All, Here is a post from a friend of mine that has some property in Northern Arizona that was broken into. Please post anywhere you can to help. You can see the entire post over on Steve H's DetectorProspector forum - https://www.detectorprospector.com/forums/topic/10779-theft/
  4. Hey Guys, I agree, would be nice to hear it in English. Looks like a lot of open detector ground to hunt over there.
  5. Hey Guys, A good friend of mine down South is making some really nice Youtube videos. The real treasure is the fact that he and his Father are doing something together they both enjoy. Subscribe to his channel to see more of their videos in the future. Good job guys, while it's still hot here in Central Arizona its great to see someone getting over some gold. The Minelab Gold Monster 1000 is also a great detector and in this video it shows.
  6. Found this video on some Arizona History about Gold Mining and Placering -
  7. Hey Ridge Runner, Yes, I can get you any of those units, I sell all brands. Hope this helps.
  8. Hey Gold Seeker, Thanks for bringing the E-Book to our attention. I didn't want to scan it, as it's a printed document owned by White's. The back of the book it says $7.95, so for $1.99 that is a bargain.

  11. Hey Guys, As a dealer Minelab has dept the new detector pretty quiet until now. If I had to make an educated guess, from being a dealer for the last 20+ years, Minelab is building detectors to match other manufactures and price point out there. Yes, my best guess is this new Minelab will be a match for the Garrett AT Pro and other coin/relic units in the $400-600 range. I think the Gold Monster 1000 was built to take out the Fisher Gold Bug 2 and Pro, which I sell both, since the release of the Monster, I'm not sure I have sold a Gold Bug 2. Right now is exciting times, as all the manufactures are scrambling to be on top. Nokta, Makro, Fisher, Garrett, White's, XP, Minelab are all trying to build the best and take the market. I believe the new Vanquish will be a lower end coin/relic, under the Equinox series, but I don't know that for a fact yet. By the looks and what is released, it's not a new Generation CTX 3030 like many were hoping. Also, it's not a gold prospecting detector, so you can rule that out also.
  12. Hey Guys, The TDI Beach Hunter is getting a lot of attention. That being said, not sure how it would do on small gold nuggets. A customer is mine is looking at one for deep water dredging on the Salmon River. Any thoughts? I would think it might not have the needed sensitivity to small gold in the range of several grains to 1/5 of a gram. As for the 30 best kept secrets to finding treasure, let me see if I have a copy.
  13. Hey AuWanderer, I understand your position, as there are a lot of new coils out now. You have the new NF EVO's, Coiltek Elite's, Coiltek Gold Extreme coils, X-Coils for GPZ and GPX series, Detech's new coils. To be honest, even as a dealer I don't have time to test them all and report back like I would. There will always be the "latest and greatest" coil, but that don't mean that older coils will not do the job. The newer coils and technology seem to always squeak out a bit more sensitivity or depth, or come out with a new design or size to appeal to someone. Overall, it's great we at least have the options. Remember when we had no options on the GPZ or SDC .....
  14. Hey Fishing8046 - Great questions. So many of the spots were really remote and virgin. However, I have hunted areas hard and missed gold, or even returned after a big storm system like the Summer Monsoons or Winter storms. These can remove large sections of bedrock and expose hidden gold nuggets. Many of them I heard a signal, looked down or keeled down and seen them before moving a speck of dirt.
  15. Hey Garik, Yep, here is some more details on that coil. We can get them for anyone that is looking for one - $1,299.00 with FREE SHIPPING Order here - https://www.robsdetectors.com/detech-32-concentric-search-coil-for-minelab-gpx-gp-sd-series-gold-detectors/ World's Largest Concentric Search Coil The Detech 32" Concentric Search Coil for Minelab GPX, GP, SD Series Gold Detectors is the world's largest concentric search coil. While large in size, the coils is extremely light its size weighing in at approximately 2.9 Pounds (1300 grams). Extreme Depth for Treasures and Gold Nuggets This coils is designed for searching deep ground, for relics, deep coins, hoards, weapons, helmets, troves, and large gold nuggets at depth. Because of its large size, the coil is not recommended when searching for very small gold nuggets or operating in very trashy areas. See the video on this page for examples of nugget size and expected depth capabilities. Precision Technology: Handcrafted Design This coil is produced using a combination of the most innovative modern technologies and handmade production techniques. This coil is made from fiberglass, carbon, polyester, epoxy resins and balsa. All materials used are of the highest quality, produced in Germany, Austria and France. The coil is made with a Litz conductor and adheres to all Minelab PI detector requirements. Head Back to Cleaned out Sites Armed with this coil, you now have the best tool for searching deep into the ground at those sites that were previously thought to have been cleaned out. With this coil in hand, all sites previously searched, are now ready to be revisited. Unique Advantages to this Coil: Extremely high level of ground balance Good stability to electromagnetic interferences Excellent discrimination of unwanted targets, better than that of traditional DD coils. Precise pin-pointing In the “mono” mode, the coil operates with its entire area, unlike dd coils, which operate with half of their surface area. Precise inductive balance Waterproof High UV protection Shock and scratch resistant

  17. Hey GDM/PV - Great finds out of the water. Always great to get a few nuggets, dry or wet. Here are a few more of my Sunbakers -
  18. Hey Garikfox, I think the first picture in the second group of four pictures is a Roadrunner claim.
  19. Hey Guys/Gals, New Mineral found in meteorite - courtesy of sciencealert.com
  20. Hey Guys, Forgot to mention, this piece I found with the GPZ a year or so ago. I ran the Minelab Gold Monster 1000 over it to pinpoint the hotspots and it worked. That being said, the White's 24K worked even better, the spots sounded much louder and a few different friends have verified the difference in response. I was using the small 6.5 inch on the White's 24K, the 5 inch round on the Gold Monster. I would think the Monster would have been louder in all honestly. Both are great detectors, but I would give the edge to the 24K on this application or test.
  21. Hey Jimmy, Thanks for sharing your valuable information here about the White's 24K. I have a wash that I'm planning on taking it to when it cools off in a bit. I have worked it a bit with the Gold Monster 1000 and found a few small pieces, but not what I thought. I really though there was going to be more smaller gold, as this wash had hundreds of nuggets in it and all were very rough. We did very well here originally with Minelab PI's, then I ran the SDC 2300 through it several times and rounded up about 27 more Grams of more rougher gold, then I GPZ'ed it and found more deeper gold in the deeper sections. I think now the only hope is small gold, 1-2 grainers and smaller on the bedrock and in the very shallow spots.
  22. Hey Boulder Dash, You are more than welcome to use mine, which has very little use on it. Just come over and pick it up. I would love to hear some other reports on it as I have such limited time.
  23. Hey Guys/Gals, I posted about this years ago, but figuring it's just about prospecting season again here in Arizona, I thought I would start a new thread about Sunbakers, or nuggets you uncover looking back at you. Technically, a "Sunbaker" is a nugget that is laying right on top of bedrock or even right on top of the soil, not requiring any movement of the ground to see it. I have found hundreds of these nuggets, just laying right on bedrock after or even before a Winter or Monsoon storm, or even just laying on top of the ground in a hillside or bench patch. It's always exciting to be walking up a new gulch or even working a hillside and get a target and look down, and there it is! Here are a few examples of pieces I have seen from blowing out a crack or even simply right on top of the ground. I would love to see some of your pictures to get everyone excited about the prospecting season out here in the Southwest that is about to happen. Wishing you all a very successful 2019-2020 season. If there is anything we can do to help, with detectors, gear or just general knowledge, we would love to help your success.
