LuckyLundy Posted October 12, 2010 Report Posted October 12, 2010 Robin & I, planned a weekend in the Reno, NV Casino's. El Dorado, is commissioned to make RoadDog a One Ounce Member's Club Ring and needed to make sure the size was right before the final casting. So RoadDog, asked if we'd like to hunt a local area down by Carson City area (Six Mile Canyon) where he's had some luck of late. Robin, didn't want to go on the hunt, so she stayed at her lucky slot machine, while us 3 made a little road trip for a day hunt. 10 o'clock arival at the parking spot and another 45 minute hike, it was time to tune our Minelabs. We split up and it wasn't two long before I had a .5 dwt nugget in my poke. El Dorado, scored 2 nuggets in a short time and was a happy prospector. RoadDog, was making sure we stayed in the zone and he scored 3 nuggets shortly after ours. I decided to take a little hike over the next hill (always greener) and walking and swinging my coil, I got a trash can lid overload target. So, I cleared a big spot down about 2" and the big target was still deeper! I dug down a few more inches and the target was real loud, but still in the hole. The next couple of inches got the target out of the hole and into the pile. Still a big overload target, but I got it in the first try with the scoop! Needless to say, I was very surprised and glad it wasn't another bullet 19.3 dwt's. RoadDog, has cold beer in front of him for life...Thanks again for the great hunt. Back at our Casino, Robin was having a great time playing slots, but wished she went on the day hunt with us! Until the Next Hunt!LuckyLundyOne of Robin's Jackpots

Admin nuggethunting Posted October 13, 2010 Admin Report Posted October 13, 2010 Hey Lucky, What a beautiful find you have there. I think there is a reason they call you "Lucky." Hey, Lucky is a great nickname, but we all know you're much more than lucky, your experience and willingness to share in my opinion is the reason you continue to be successful. I firmly believe in helping others and feel good things come in return. Keep up the great nuggetshooting up there! P.S. Thanks once again for your friendship and referrals. Rob Allison
LuckyLundy Posted October 13, 2010 Author Report Posted October 13, 2010 Rob,Friendship, sharing and having fun is our group of prospectors basic motto. Not much fun if you can't share a great time with a friend(s), kind of like hitting a hole-in-one out golfing by yourself. I'd rather die poor with friends, than rich with no friends! We share the same hobbies, friendships, camp cooking, and gold patches with each other. Glad to help your business grow, when I can. You've always provided me with a fast response, product delivery and a clean hat to keep the sun off my head (need new one, pls). Don't change a thing! Until the next hunt.LuckyLundy
Uncle Ron Posted October 13, 2010 Report Posted October 13, 2010 Awesome nugget, Rick...I've been over in your general area for the past three weeks visiting grandbabies and was going to try to get ahold of you...I just couldn't get the time but did get to introduce my oldest grand daughter, Baylie (5), to the hunt with a GB2...She's a natural..As excited about finding bullets, nails, etc., as we would be on an ouncer...Still hope to get over your way for a beepfest...Cheers, Unc
LuckyLundy Posted October 13, 2010 Author Report Posted October 13, 2010 Ron,I've told you for a couple of years now, to stop for a hunt! Maybe your next trip, you find a few new patches down in Arizona this Winter.Rick
