  9. Hey Glenn, What a perfect prospecting vehicle. You taking Jackie with you! Here are those two I got this weekend -
  10. Hey Glenn, Congrats. The larger ones are getting tougher to find, no question. I was lucky enough to pop out a 3 & 4.1 Dwter today. Not a bad hit with the SDC 2300 on some larger gold. One was jammed down in a bedrock crack, a real screamer.
  11. Hey Lunk, Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I was wondering where you might be at. Congrats on your recent finds. Wishing you much more during your Winter hunt. Keep in touch and continue posting if you would. Your friend, Rob Allison
  12. Hey Rick, I have noticed with the headphone adapter on the SDC, the volume is pretty much the same with the Black Widow's or stock Koss. That being said, I use the Koss most of the time, but if it's noisy outside (wind and such) I will use the Black Widow's. Just my thoughts. Did you end up getting a SDC?
  13. Hey Glenn, Congrats on another batch of nuggets. It's amazing how many nuggets are out there to be found. Majority of them being smaller, but I don't think I would be off base saying there are hundreds of thousands to still be found.
  14. Hey Tom, Congrats on the nuggets. Always fun to find more in the spots you have before. Glenn - Post the nuggets if you would. I was up in your area this weekend, but it was a last minute trip and wasn't able to make contact with you. Scott and I explored and I picked up 7 small ones. I have 28 nuggets in the last 3 trips, most being from the Bradshaw region.
  15. Hey Guys, Jeff - Congrats on the recent finds! No doubt the SDC is finding gold other detectors (including the GPX series) are missing. No doubt, it will find stuff almost, if not as small as the GB2, but in hot ground. I worked one spot years ago and picked up a bunch of small nuggets with the GB2, but the ironstones drove me nuts. No way to balance them out and they were so thick in some areas the detector screamed on everything. I went back to this spot a few weeks after getting the SDC and found 10 nuggets within a few hours. It was so hot them, the heat drove me out. I will be back to that spot again this Winter. Shep - You're going to love it. You're not going to get rich with it (unless you find another pounder ), but you're going to have fun finding smaller gold you left behind (especially crystalline type gold, specimens and small gold in general). Have fun with it!!
  16. Hey Guys, This is a workhorse if anyone loves to drywash, especially with more than one person. I owned a Keene 151 years ago and was able to move a ton of material very quickly with great gold recover.
  17. Hey Glenn, Glad you're back in Arizona and working the goldfields. I'm sure by the end of your trip, you're going to have hundreds of nuggets collected. Just goes to show that someone will to spend the time and energy looking for nuggets will find plenty of them. Thanks for sharing!!
  18. Hey Guys, First, I appreciate everything you have to say, and we here at "Rob's Detector Sales" truly are blessed to have customers such as yourselves. Our goal has always been to make sure the customer is getting 110% customer satisfaction, lifetime support beyond the sale and quick as possible shipping. I think the online store from Minelab America's was a shocker to most dealers such as myself. I love the product hands-down, but they promised this would never happen years ago and it started with allowing the larger retailers to sell just the X-Terra series. It's wasn't long before Home Depot, Cabela's, Target and a dozen other very larger online retailers had all the metal detectors listed on their site. I'm sure the large dealers like Kellyco don't like it. We can bitch and complain, but it's a matter of continuing on. We will still give the best support, service and bundles we can.
  19. Hello All, Managed to get out today with a few friends. Working with the Minelab SDC 2300 today, I found 6 nuggets in a old wash below a quartz vein (nuggets shown on top) and then later at a difference location I found another 14 small ones. Several of them were in the wash, but ended up tracking them up a hill and onto a small flat. No doubt it's a patch, but didn't get much time to really work it. I did a really quick scan hoping to hear some easy bigger pieces, but wasn't able to score on the larger gold. Excited to get back and see how extensive this nugget patch really is. Thanks for viewing.
  20. Hey Guys, I'm not saying that is who found it and agree the vegetation and dirt can be the same for hundreds of miles. I was hoping it might have been those guys. Could you imagine coin/relic hunting and finding a lifetime, trophy type nugget!!
  21. Hey Reno Chris, I'm trying to figure out how to allow members to have more space for pictures. I don't mess with the forum much anymore. I will see what I can come up with, but in the meantime, you can go under your settings when you're logged in and delete some of your oldest pictures to give you more space. Congrats on the recent pieces. I found another 20 small nuggets today with the SDC. Found a small patch on a ridge, all small gold so far, but excited to get back.
  22. Hey Barry, Great information. Thanks for all the hard work and research you have placed into the mapping and claims programs.
  23. Hey Guys, I could be way off base here, but some guys called this week and mentioned their thoughts on the recent big gold. Not long after those calls I remember a few guys posting large CA gold nuggets that they were finding with coin/relic detectors (gold nuggets 1-5 ounces). I took a second look at the recent, big gold nugget and the ground/grass around it and compared to this video. Give me your thoughts, but it's a good observation I think. Those pictures, compare to this video's dirt and vegetation when the camera looses some light. Keep in mind, the video is filmed at night. and this video at about 10 minutes - If others got word these guys were finding nuggets, others are now there hunting ..... Ok, just being bored ....
  24. Hello All, Here is a quick report from a customer that purchased a Minelab SDC 2300 from us. Thanks for the recently report.
  25. Hey Tom, You bring up a good point. We can't ship outside the US, but what's our guarantee that someone outside the US don't purchased a bunch from their online store. Are they going to break their own agreement? Just a honest question I think.
