  1. Hey Reno Chris, Thanks for sharing. You would think somewhere in those old diggins there would be a large lump they missed. Wishing you much more success on the digs.
  2. Hey Doc, I think it's a toss up. I like the way you added them all together, even though it's a 33 minute overall video. It's great for someone to sit back at night, relax and watch some good nugget digs. That being said, I try to limit mine to around 5 minutes, main reason being upload time. I'm formatting them in HD, so a 5 minute HD video uploaded to Youtube can take 2-3 hours. If I do longer, I won't be able to get on my PC as it takes all my PC resources to upload and then try to get high-speed internet out here in the boondocks! I just filmed a short nugget dig which I will upload tonight if possible.
  3. Hello All, Was able to escape early this morning and set foot on the Arizona Goldfields at 5am. Hunted for about 6 hours on several old patches with the Minelab GPZ 7000. One patch I scored 5 small ones, the second patch was 9 coarse nuggets (actually 10 as one is a iron specimen not shown). Ended up totaling just over 7 Grams for all 14 nuggets shown in the pictures below. The Minelab GPZ 7000 amazes me every time out on these old patches. Anyone have an old patch I can check out? It's out there ...

  7. Hey Mike, Trust me, he wants one bad, but he is not in the financial shape to purchase a GPZ right now. I told him he welcome to mine, but for the most part we are weekend warriors and I'm using it.
  8. Hey Mike, Same long time hunting partner. He gets discouraged now that over most of the old patches, it's hard for a GPX to snag a nugget. That being said, he's a master with the GPX, so he is snagging one here and there, just not like the GPZ is. I probably find 5 to his one on a average.
  9. Hey Tom, Was able to snag 7 Sunday with the GPZ. Couldn't do much, as it was more of a site-seeing trip with a friend and his wife. They wanted to see the goldfields, so the detecting was limited. Didn't weigh them, most of them are pretty small, probably 2-3 Grams worth.
  10. Hey Doc, Congrats on the new nuggets. I sold a GPZ 7000 to a guy several months ago. He was really "uncertain" I was giving him honest advice when I told him the new GPZ 7000 with the stock 14x13 can find gold down to a grain and under at or near the surface. He said he never heard of a PI, or a detector such as this technology with a large loop find small gold. He swore by the Falcon-MD20, which he found thousands of pieces under a grain working cracks and such. He has now found over 100 pieces of gold, most of them from a grain to a Dwt in size in the same places he worked with the MD-20. He is excited he can cover so much more ground, still find the small nuggets and larger ones at depth. Before with the MD-20, he had no depth ability. The GPZ 7000 is amazing, that is all I can say!
  11. Hello All, After this video from JP hit Youtube, many customers started calling as they assumed we had these in stock. I contacted Minelab Americas a few days ago, they seemed pretty unaware at the time what I was talking about. I believe they are going to have them soon, but they don't have them at the moment nor do any dealer (that I know of) have them in the US. The moment I get these in stock, I will make sure all my customers are notified about the availability.
  12. Hello All, Thanks to FlakMagnet and some others on the Australian Forums, here is a great method to eliminate weight and overall stress on the wrist, elbow and shoulder with the new "wrap around technique." Jump the video to around the 9 minute mark to see it. The entire video is good through.
  13. Hey Doc, Keep up the great videos, but make sure you send all GPZ 7000 my way!! LOL To make it fair I will send all Qweegee Bungee Cords, Detector Protector Hats, Kangroo Nugget Pouches sales and so on to you for the GPZ's. Give Doc and I both a Thumbs Up and subscribe to our Youtube Channels. Youtube is a wealth of info on metal detecting, mining and such.
  14. Hey Guys, Thanks for the comments. This areas is huge and has larger potential if you can work through the rubbish the old-timers left behind. I probably dug over 100 targets for the 5 nuggets. I found most of the nuggets early in the morning with only a minimal amount of trash, but after I hit the nuggets I really started to zone in and dug a ton of rubbish later in the day. No question, a lot of nuggets left, some biggies are there also. I have found them up to over 1/4 ounce, but know there are multi-ouncers as I have seen them found personally. Grubstake - I will tell Dennis. We talk about that trip all the time and if we had GPZ 7000's there today. Adam - Thanks. Wishing you and your crew the best. You guys are some of the best placer miners/detectorists I have seen. Takes a certain breed for that type of work. Tortuga - Ya, I've kept the skunk off my back for a long time, but once I start prospecting for new ground, the skunk will jump back onboard. Take care all,
  15. Hey Guys, Ya, I'm a bit behind the "Eight Ball" when it comes to getting stuff listed on my site. Keep in mind, I do all the work myself. That includes a full time job, the business, the website (design and products), forum and much more. I'm a one man show, so I'm doing my best to get stuff up quickly. If you don;t see something, call us. We do sell all Makro Products, but don't have the Racer on the site as of yet. I just have the Makro Pinpointer on the site for now, which is selling very well, better than any other pinpointer I sell. Give us a call if you're looking.
  16. Hey Guys, Sure sounds like the new Fors Gold is a great VLF detector. I'm a Makro and XP Dealer, even know many of their products are not listed on my site. I haven't ordered any Racers as of yet, as I was more interested in the Gold Racer that will follow. That all being said, if anyone needs a Racer or Gold Racer, I will have them or can order them when needed. The XP Deus is another great unit. I have one used one I'm willing to sell, no question the lightest, wireless unit I have ever used before.
  17. Hey Way2cool, I will have to look into that coil. I don't honestly know much about it beyond what you posted. I'm a Nugget Finder dealer, so will have to jump my cousins butt!! Haha .....
  18. Hey Guys, A partner and I decided to take a hike back into several patches that were a ways off the beaten path before it gets too hot. It required a good hour hike to the location and a bunch of climbing up and down. Luckily we started at 5:30am and arrived at the site right around 6:45am. By 7am we both were hunting, my partner with the GPX 5000 and 14-inch Coiltek Round and I was behind the GPZ 7000. After 4 hours of hard hunting, the temps were getting pretty warm and we decided to hike back out. I ended up with 5 nuggets, 4 Grams total. Biggest piece was 2.3 Grams at around 8 inches. Partner got the skunk this time around. It's out there .....
  19. Hey Guys, Masher - I haven't compared the two. I like both Manufactures, but believe Coiltek has something else going on in this coil beyond the Litz wire. Big Ed - Great to hear from you. I will keep an eye out for the Money Order. Did you send to the PO Box 8926?
  20. Hey Californiagold, Thanks for the great info and finds with the Coiltek Elite coil. Some good reports are coming so far from the use of the new coil.
  21. Hey Guys, Made an error on the MAP price, it should be $405.00. $20 cheaper than I originally had listed.
  22. Hey Adam, I have the original, tan colored proto-type here at my house if you're interested in a test run. Take it over some spots and see if you notice any difference. I would like to just hear a report back from an older style detector such as your SD2200. I don't want anything for it, just an honest report, good or bad. Keep it as long as you need to test in on a few spots. I promise not to place a GPS microchip in it.
  23. Hello All, I know it has been a struggle to get these new coils in stock, but we finally have a good batch of the new Coiltek Camo 14-inch Round Mono Elite Searchcoils in stock. This new coil is getting crazy reviews from users using anything from an older SD, GP and new GPX series. I personally field tested this coil with the GPX 5000 and it was very impressive. The new coil is using new innovative mono configuration and LITZ wire for more depth and sensitivity than any other 14-inch Mono Round on the market today. Here are some of the key features of this new coil. 14" round or 350mm in diameter 1130 grams or 40 ounces approx. Suits the Minelab SD / GP / GPX detectors Sharp and bright response to targets Extremely sensitive and quiet in operation Water resistant Deep searcher From current tests consistently achieving 1-2 inches greater depth than the standard 14" Mono by Coiltek Optimises the SD, GP and GPX detectors performance ** Order from our online store here - http://www.robsdetectors.com/coiltek-camo-elite-14-inch-round-mono-searchcoil Your price shipped to you door in the US is - $405.00 with FREE Fedex Ground Shipping See the pictures below -
  24. Hey Guys, Thanks for the comments. Tom - Ever since I broke my wrist 3-4 years ago, it's been an adjustment to pinpoint with my left hand. I can't even get my right wrist near the GPZ coil, it will scream. I always place the detector down on my right side, so my right wrist gets in the way .....
  25. Looks great Doc. Let me know when you have them, I have customers waiting. I want to be one of the first to get them, please!!
