  1. Hey Goldstud, Congrats on getting more from the patch. Sounds like the gold might be even deeper than you think? If you ever want the Super Dooper 5000 to hit it, let me know.
  2. Hey Way2cool, Thanks for the comments. We spend a lot of time at night (after hours) packing orders to make sure they get to customers in a timely manner. If orders are received early enough, I try to get them out the same day, if not the following day for sure. Thanks for the continued business and support. We appreciate it greatly. Rob Allison
  3. Hey Hurthawk, Thanks for the video. Your friend that was crevicing done well for the small amount of time. Have you considered dredging the area?
  4. Hey Ray, That is some great looking ground. I',m guessing you scored some nice gold nuggets there? Thanks for sharing.
  5. Hello Guys, I have found hundreds over the years, but unfortunately didn't take pictures all the time. Sure wish I would have, as some would have been very neat pictures. Argonaute - I have one picture where I found 8 Sunbakers on the surface, but could only get like 6 in the picture at a time. I have the pictures, still searching my hard drives for it.
  6. Hey James, Welcome to the forums. This is a great hobby to keep in shape, relieve stress and potentially find some nice treasures (gold nuggets, meteorites, coins, relics or interesting trash). There are a handful of detectors for under $1000 - The ones that I support and carry are the following for gold nugget hunting - Minelab X-Terra series, most popular X-Terra 705 Gold - $729.00 Minelab Eureka Gold - $1049.00 Fisher Goldbug - $499.00 Fisher Goldbug 2 - $765.00 Fisher Goldbug Pro - $649.00 Tesoro, White's & Garrett are other manufactures that also have detectors for under $1000. Hope this helps. Don't hesitate to call us anytime if you have questions - 623-362-1459
  7. Hey Guys, Thanks for the comments on the Sunbakers. Here are a few more that I pulled up I found. There are more nuggets laying on the surface than you think. The first picture shows a group of three nuggets on the bedrock. This spot I took over 40 nuggets ranging from a few grains to several Dwt's within about 10 yards. Hope you enjoyed.
  8. Hello All, Here are six pictures I dug up that are "Sunbakers." Swung over the signal, hear it and looked down to see the nugget. Most of them are 1/2 - 3 Dwt range if I remember correctly. Hope you enjoyed. Will post more soon!
  9. Hey Guys, That was a fun trip, sure miss those. We need to get something together again like that. Here the Goldstudmuffin # 1 himself -
  10. Hey Tom, Will do. I don't have an external speakers left, those both sold within a few hours. I have some other items and coils I will be listing soon.
  11. Hey Mike, That is how we had to balance all units before having the "handle with the ground balance" button. I mentioned this awhile back, if you broke your button, you can still ground balance the unit using the same process you just seen by Kevin H. in the video above. Thanks for bringing it back up again, as it's important for users to know if the button breaks off. Rob Allison
  12. Hey Doc, I agree 100%. I told the guys during the "quick" test that we were not using the same unit. Even though the settings as far as I seen were the same, each detector could be a bit different. I wasn't a big believer before or after, but the guy wanted to prove that the stock battery was better. I didn't see any real big evidence, especially since the detectors were different to convince me to go back to the stock 5000 battery. I'm going to continue to use the Goldscreamer Power Pack as it has been a proven performer for me and many others that I know. The stock battery is nice, but you have to carry around a battery on your lower back, the harness that don't fit well and the power cord that snags on everything. Just my thoughts,

  15. Hello All, Over the last year, there is no doubt the Goldscreamer Power Pack is the hottest, lightest battery system for the SD, GP and GPX series. I absolutely love mine, couldn't part with it if I had to. That being said, I had a guy show me a test, trying to prove to me that you are loosing performance with the Goldscreamer vs. the stock GPX 5000. Now we didn't go through all his settings vs. mine, but there was no doubt on depth, there seemed to be a difference. I'm not a solid believer, but was wondering if anyone has heard, seen or tested this? Would be interested in hearing more. Rob Allison
  16. Hello All, There was still a minor bug, but the issue has been resolved. Please feel free to use the online store for orders, as the SSL certificate has been updated and everything is back and working fine. We do use one of the most secure security hosting sites along with a very strick and sometimes too secure Payment Gateway on the online store. Thanks for your patients. Rob Allison
  17. Hey Mark, Ya, if anyone has any issues with this, please let me know. I haven't heard anything, but recommend keeping your password something difficult for someone to hack. Don't use your email, phone number, name, username, 123456, or anything that simple. We validate all members, so we try the best we can to keep all the hackers and spammers from getting access. We also keep the lastest versions of the forum updated at all times to elliminate any bugs and such.
  18. Hey Border Boy, Congrats! Thanks for sharing with us. Paul the Miner ....
  19. Hey Kev, Thanks for the battery information for the Goldbug Pro. I might try using those batteries myself. Are they only rechargable type, or can you get normal alkaline batteries at that voltage? Glad to see you posting back on the forums. Rob Allison
  20. Hey Johnmac, Welcome to the forums. There is a wealth of knowledge here on the forums. Fire away on your questions and we will see what we can answer. On another note, some start with VLF's, others like to start with PI's. VLF's are much cheaper in price and will give you more frusterations starting, the PI's are much more expensive and will give you the edge. Either way, the gold nuggets have to be there to find.
  21. Hey Russ, Great to see you back onboard here. The nuggets you just found are very nice. I'm sure being able to take your Sons out there to find gold with you is the biggest plus to prospecting. Are you still using the modded Minelab GP 3500? What coil were you using and what depths were the nuggets found? Talk with you soon,
  22. Hey Guys, It's always the impression that Minelab dealers might know something, but that is not the case. Like anything, Minelab wants us to purchase all the older stuff, so it would only make sense for them to tell us at the very last minute. This allows us to order right up until that point. I know another dealer on here that had a similar deal. Maybe they might say something about it. We will see if something new is going to roll out, but I'm not holding my breath. Until then, the Minelab GPX 5000's are selling like hotcakes still.
  23. Hey Pinkmouse, I'm not an expert by any means on the new Fisher Goldbug Pro, but have used it for a while now playing around in different places. Overall it works well and has great sensitivity to small gold, much more than I orginally expected. I would contact Ray Mills - Trinityau on this forum for more advice on this unit. He is truely the expert on this unit.
  24. Hey Border Boy, I told them all to head down South to your patches! It was a great time, all the guys felt they really learned about their detector, settings and techniques to get out on their own and have confidence to find something.
  25. Hey Gravelwasher, You probably already know this, but looking at the pictures I notice water and looks like the wash has depth. Without a doubt, I'm sure if the wash or creek is in a gold bearing area there are some nuggets somewhere there. That being said, I would try to look for shallow areas and exposed bedrock areas and check them out first if possible. If you can find a nugget or two in the shallow spots or on bedrock, it could be worth detecting some the deeper spots that I seen in your pictures. The reason I say this - 99% of the time you're going to dig iron rubbish from the washes, especially in the deeper sections. There could be deeper nuggets, maybe bigger, but if you never found a nugget in the wash, I focus on the shallow areas and exposed bedrock to prove nuggets are there. Also, in these spots, the iron rubbish will be shallow, making detecting more pleasant than digging 2-3 foot holes for pick heads, cans, horseshoes and other big iron trash. Just my thoughts,
