  2. Thanks Everyone! We really enjoy what we do and all the friendships we have gained doing it.
  3. Yes, we now have them, just haven't had time to get them listed. I have about 100 copies of them.
  4. Hello All, Ronnie, owner of DetectorPro and Gold Diggers Metal Detecting is considering building these new Gray Ghost "Gold Series" headphones for the Minelab Gold Monster 1000. As many know, the stock ML headphones are just mid line and the cord is way too short in my opinion. I have about ripped it off several times as it's just too short and gets wrapped around the control box. These potentially new DetectorPro Gray Ghost's are great. They fit like all the other DetectorPro headphones, have great audio and even have a longer cord to eliminate the snagging like the stock headphones. I can see these being a great seller. That all being said, are people willing to purchase a $100+ pair of headphones for their $799.00 detector??? This is the big question, as I'm sure Ronnie would want to manufacture at least 500+ headphones to make it worth while. Since the standard plug is 1/4 inch for most detectors and this is only 1/8", they would be specific to just the Gold Monster and maybe Equinox series. I'm going to test them a few more times, but I have pretty much made up my mind that I would purchase a pair. Bill "Nuggetshooter" Southern also has tried them out and really liked them. P.S. You can contact Ronnie at DetectorPro or Gold Digger Metal Detecting to let him know your thoughts if you would like. The more that contact him about their interest in a pair, they just might start to manufacture them. Pictures below ....
  5. Hey Chuck, Amazing finds. The Equinox are really doing well out there. This has been a huge hit for Minelab!
  6. Hello All, Sorry didn't post earlier, but it's still Christmas day. I wanted to wish you all a warm Christmas Day and Happy New Year. Thank you all for supporting us along the way. We appreciate your friendship and business, without you all, we wouldn't be here today. We hope together we all have a wonderful 2019 season in business and finding a lot of gold! Wishing everyone a nice nugget to start the 2019 season off right. Rob Allison - Rob's Detector Sales
  7. Hello All, It's my understanding, that one of our forum members and close friend, Tortuga - Chris C. has been missing for a few days, if not more. It sounds like he didn't tell anyone where he was heading, but many are assuming some placer area around Tucson. Contact me if you know any information on where he could have went. Prayers that he is found.
  8. Hey Afreakofnature, I hate to part with mine, knowing if something happened to it in shipping or whatever, I would never own a copy again. Mine is personally signed and with a long time friendship note from Jim himself. I don't want to jeopardize my copy or I would send you mine to copy.
  9. Hello All, Today I met up with four customers that purchased Minelab detectors from us at Rob's Detectors. We did training on the GPZ 7000, SDC 2300, GPX 4500 and a Gold Monster 1000 today. The morning was very cold, down in the low 40's. Within a few hours it warmed up nice and everyone was out detecting for a gold nugget. One customer from Alaska hit a nice specimen on his second target of the day (pictured below). For several hours all of us where struggling to turn another gold nugget up, as they were really hiding well. After lunch two more gold nuggets popped up from the GPX and GPZ customers. Overall it was a great day, couldn't beat the weather in the afternoon and 3 gold nuggets were found. Thank you all for your business with Rob's Detector Sales. We promise to help you from this point on become very successful nuggetshooters! P.S. Last picture is me using the Gold Monster and the new prototype DetectorPro Gold Series headphones for the Minelab Gold Monster 1000. They worked really great and I'm hoping Ronnie and DetectorPro start building them soon.
  10. Hey Afreakofnature, You seen where I did everything in my power to get the 8th edition re-printed. I even tried to purchase the copyright to re-print. I'm not sure why the publisher didn't publish anymore. I told him I would commit to at least 100 copies if not more to make him recover some of his cost right out of the gate.

  15. Hello All, It seems like every year I get less time to explore new ground here in Arizona. Recently I finally told myself I'm going to check out a few spots I have researched in the past. This particular spot talked about lode gold specifically, but the nature of the gold per the reports was pocket type. I figured this would be a good place to poke around for the day and I even found some extensive handstacking in one gulch. Working around this area yielded a ton of iron rubbish (old cans pieces, wire, nails and more) along with two smaller gold nuggets. Due to the amount of trash, I might consider a good coin/relic detector such as the Minelab Equinox to help eliminate some of the rubbish. If I had to make an educated guess, I probably dug 20-30 pieces of rubbish for each gold nugget. I had a nice pouch full of junk at the end of the day, even several bullet casings and lead. I'm sure there is more, but I have to save it for a day I'm more willing to dig a lot of rubbish or figure out a way to really just "cherry pick" the gold nuggets among the rubbish (almost impossible I think!). Here are a couple of pictures. I guess the old-timers were right, it's still out there .... somewhere Wishing you all Happy Holidays and some gold nuggets to boot.

  20. Hey AraratGold, Wow, I never realized that. That is a shame. I'm not sure why they would do it here and not in their home country???
  21. Hey Guys, I can't picture what customer it could be. I have sold a bunch of GPZ's over the years and that is for sure one of my invoices and business cards. Hopefully the buyer will come out and give some more information. The price is very good, no doubt, almost too good. If I can get some info from the seller, I will validate if the unit really came from me.
  22. Hello All, A couple of customers called this morning and ordered detectors stating they heard the Military Discount was going to end. This was total news to us, so I'm in the process of trying to confirm this from Minelab directly. Until I hear else wise we are still honoring 15% off on any Minelab metal detector. We have been honoring this discount since it has been available. I feel it's a way Minelab and the Dealer can give back to anyone that is an active or retired Vet. I will follow up with more details once I hear them. If anyone else has heard this, I would like to hear about it. Maybe I'm just the last guy on the block to get the so called bad news .....
  23. Hey Beatup, How is the Oak Park motel in Yarnell? Pretty reasonable to stay there during the Winter? I might have to refer customers to this place if they are looking for a closer stay to Rich Hill/Stanton area.
  24. Hey Clay, She sure did. The place housed many prospectors over the years that were visiting the Rich Hill area.
