  1. Hello All, Many have been waiting for the new Minelab Pro Sonic wireless audio system. It's now available and have a large batch arriving anytime. Call us ASAP at 623.362.1459 if you would like us to hold one for you. I will post more about it, but it can be seen here - http://www.minelab.com/usa/accessories-1/pro-sonic-1 The PRO‑SONIC wireless audio system generates audio using advanced wireless technology to achieve clear sound with minimal perceivable time delay. The PRO‑SONIC Receive Module features an internal loudspeaker and a 6.35mm (¼") headphone socket for use with your choice of headphones. It can be attached to your harness or clothing using the metal belt clip. Wireless Technology The PRO-SONIC Transmit Module sends out low-power (mW) radio waves using the ISM frequency band (2.402 – 2.480Ghz). The PRO-SONIC Receive Module senses these signals and establishes a piconet communication network with the Transmit Module, using frequency hopping to eliminate interference from other wireless devices. Everything You Need The PRO-SONIC system contains everything you need for clear, fast, wireless audio. PRO-SONIC is compatible with any detector, and comes with an SDC adapter cable and a handy car charger for charging on the go. 2. Hey Way2cool, I agree with you on that. Some of the forums have like 20-30 different categories, just too much for me to even think about browsing. I will probably just keep what we have since it's already recorded in the Search Engines and ratings. I need to somehow encourage guys to post.
  3. Hello All, I'm not trying to compete with the other forums out there, as there are many from the US ones to Australian. Most of my customers, and mostly what I do is chase gold. Curious if we should loose the other forums here and stick with just the Gold Prospecting/Metal Detecting one and maybe the Youtube and Classifieds? Any suggestions on what I should zap if any, or add? Thanks for your advice in advance.
  4. Hey Tom, Ya, that can be spooky. I ran into a guy similar to that, but he was (I think) protecting a Pot Field back around Black Canyon City many years back. Scared the crap out of me and the guy didn't talk. Later that night I seen on the news there was a Pot Field discovered by the Fed around Black Canyon City, Arizona.
  5. Hey Tom, Thanks for the comment on the new look. It's been a long, slow process, but finally got the online store complete (still some tweaking) with Paypal added as a payment option along with all major credit cards. I wanted to get the forums, which used to be Nuggethunting.com forums to my business name. This makes everything in my opinion a bit more seamless. I have some other changes and tweaks in the works, so hopefully everyone will like the changes.
  6. Hey Bud, Way to go! That is a big black slug, probably the biggest I have seen.
  7. Hello All, This weekend I had a training session with 4 customers that purchased SDC's and GPZ 7000's. We had a great day in the field and the weather was perfect. A few small gold nuggets were found during the training. Everyone left really confident in their new Minelab detectors. Thanks for all your business!
  8. Hey Tom and Crew, Great finds and nice looking color. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Hey Clay, Thanks for the maps. Looks like the report said the gold was from Glaciers. I haven't watched the last couple of episodes of Gold Rush, so it will be interesting to see how they do there. From the maps, don't look like they have a ton of ground to move in the future. Looks like another big operation to the left.
  10. Hey Oneday, Ya, this unit was shipped to a customer, not sure what happened. They must have turned the backlight OFF somehow and never plugged in the headphones unless they had a different pair. The headphones were still packed new and the wireless remote was never charged. The unit sold quickly for the price. The new buyer will be happy for sure!
  11. PENDING SALE Hello All, I have a returned Minelab GPZ 7000 that was assembled and returned. Customer stated it didn't turn on. I refunded the customer and got the unit back. After a very lengthy inspection, my conclusion was the unit works great, they turned OFF the display so they couldn't see the screen. They also didn't have headphones installed, so not sure how they thought with the display and no headphones the unit was going to work. The serial number is - 62109850355 I'm asking $6500 shipped in the lower 48 states. I know this unit will go quickly, so it will go to the first person with payment. I comes with all stock accessories, no bundled items. This is a great price, so I'm firm. Don't waste my time trying to haggle me down, it's already $1500 less with free shipping vs. a normal new unit. Contact me at - 623.362.1459
  12. Hey Tom, Thanks for the update. Daughter wants to play in the water, I told her it would be freezing!! Her answer, get me a wetsuit like yours ...... LOL
  13. Hey Guys, I haven't been out swinging for some time, but was curious if any of the major creeks/washes are running? I'm sure once the water clears up, if running, some great dredging can be done. I'm sure for all the metal detectorist chasing gold nuggets, any wash, creek or gully that got flushed out could be worth a visit.
  14. Hey Auwander, Great finds with the NF EVO coil. These coils are performing very well on all the SD, GP and GPX series metal detectors. As you can see, the 17 inch elliptical is still very sensitive to small gold.
  15. Hey Gray Fox, Sorry I missed this post. I see a lot of others gave their valuable advice. First, I wouldn't be too concerned on a larger coil for more depth until you start finding some gold nuggets (which you might have already). If you're not finding any nuggets on your property with what you have, I'm not sure I would invest in a larger coil, not knowing the gold is even on the claim or at least in nugget form. I would continue working the claim with what you have in hopes of finding some gold nuggets concentrated in an area. Once you have found some nuggets and the area might have some depth, I would then consider a larger coil. I wouldn't advise buying a $200+ larger coil for either the X-Terra or AT Pro until you start picking up nuggets with what you have. Hope this helps a bit,
  16. Hey All, I always wondered why Minelab allows others to build coils for their detectors. I see two sides of it, a lot of aftermarket parts/coils and such which is great for the customer and sales, but on Minelab's side a lot of revenue lost to other companies. Minelab is way more than capable of building all these coils the aftermarket companies are building. I know some have mentioned a smaller coil for the GPZ, but damn the 14x13 is picking up like 1 grain nuggets at or near the surface, I would be scared a smaller coil such as an 11-inch would find micro gold.
  17. Hello All, We had a great time at the 2017 Minelab International Partners Conference in Las Vegas (MGM Grand). My wife and I got to meet a bunch of new faces (dealers, distributors and Minelab staff) from all around the Globe. The top award, called the Minelab Eagle Award was given to Miners Keepers in Australia. A great couple that my wife and I got to meet just briefly during the conference. A bunch of known dealers were there, Bill Southern, Doc, AZO, DeMarco, Ron, Gerry's Detectors, Chuck Smalley, Keith and many others (forgive me there was a ton of guys). Chris Ralph and several other guest speakers were also there. We have to razz Steve Herschbach for not showing up!! LOL Overall a great conference and some exciting things to come in the future! 18. Hey Guys, I was surprised also when a friend sent it to me. He said, look here is that Gold Rush guy singing, I didn't know what to think before opening the Youtube link. I'm not sure he will become a full blown rock star, but not bad if this is something he just thought was cool to do and finding out he has a decent voice. If you click on the Youtube name of his channel, you will find a bunch of other songs, this is just one.
  19. Hey Guys, Yep, there are thousands of them out there. If anyone has questions, I'm willing to help on counterfeit items.
  20. Hey Tom, Excellent Tom!! Great to hear your out there exploring. Hope to see more soon from you.
  21. Hey Homefire, I have all new items for sure for that unit. Batteries, power cords, amps, and everything else you need from Minelab or aftermarket. I might have some used stuff also, so let me know exactly what you're looking for.
