  1. Hey Guys, Thanks and hope you all have a Wonderful Christmas. I have been telling my Daughter to never forget the real reason for Christmas. The culture has changed so much in the last 20 years where young kids think it's all about getting as many presents as they can. That being said, we have present tore apart all over the place. Funny, kids get bored of new presents within minutes, then off to the next one. Boxes and parts all over the floor ......
  2. Hey Guys, No doubt it's a Golden potato. It's not Alaska gold, but rather lower desert region gold! That is all I can say right now as the finder is doing well in the area and don't want any hints on where he is hunting. He did tell me, the GPZ's are killing it here, so all the stuff I keep hearing about the GPZ not doing well, these guy would rather you believe it. They hunted this region for 5 solid years with GPX series and are cleaning up now with the GPZ's. I have an invite, I just don't have to time (shame on me)!
  3. Hello All, I know over the years many have loved to use Paypal, but our store didn't honor that payment through the store. We now have added Paypal for a payment option and will have Amazon Pay very soon. This allows a lot of different payment options for the new 2017 season with us. You can also check out as a guest, but logging in with your information will allow you to have discount codes and such as you purchase different things throughout the year. This will allow for better savings and promos to be sent to you via email. Thanks!
  4. Hey Guys, Sorry for the confusion, but they forgot to add in the magazine ad that you can't add the discounts together. We are always offering the 15% on Minelab detectors and up to the end of Jan. 2017 the other offers - 10% for new customers with purchases over $250 15% for repeat customers with purchases over $250 Just a FYI, I have also added Paypal to our online store now. We now can accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex and will have Amazon Pay soon.
  5. Hello All, Here is a picture of a 1.2 Kilo gold nugget found just recently with a Minelab GPZ 7000. I believe it was also found with the new coil, 19-inch, but going to confirm to make sure. I'm not allowed to talk about where it was found, but it was found on old detected ground. Due to the depth of the nuggets being found, they are considering a dozer in the area. Prior to this find, the finder found a 300 Grammer! A personal friend that has purchased several Minelab's sent me the picture. He asked to not re-share this picture anywhere else, one reason I watermarked it. Please respect his wishes on this. Great find right before Christmas!
  6. Hello All, Here is an interesting article on a company that is really pushing forward on the X-Ray technology to find gold. Read the entire article here - http://www.csiro.au/en/Research/MRF/Areas/Mining-and-mining-systems/Intelligent-mining/Xray-gold-detection
  7. Hello All, We here at Rob's Detector Sales want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thanks for all your business and loyal support over the years. We have a lot of new stuff coming this year, so keep an eye on our new online store (still tweaking), forums and other marketplaces we operate.
  8. Hello All, Here is a photo of a few smaller nuggets found with a GPZ 19-inch coil that was purchased from me. The nuggets were found by a few customers/friends on a hammered nugget patch. Both nuggets were deep for their size. I think the larger of the two pieces was around 2 Dwt's and was found around 16-inches. Both targets were just faint whispers. Thanks for sharing with us.
  9. Hey Guys, A few reports came in. I also have a few pictures I will get up soon. One report was a 2-3 Dwt at 16-18 inches and then a very tiny 3 grain nugget at like 4 inches with the GPZ 19-inch coil. Nothing huge as of yet, but I'm sure someone will knock a nice one out.
  10. Hey Guys, Well hopefully soon we will get some good reports. Same here, I got tied up with Christmas stuff, wasn't able to break away.
  11. Hey Tom, Excellent find. Always great to beat the skunk! Thanks for sharing.
  12. Hello All, I know there are plenty of guys now out with the new Minelab GPZ 19-inch Searchcoil, so curious if anyone has had any success? We all would love to hear if you're getting more depth and hopefully some larger nuggets in the poke. I personally haven't been out with mine yet.
  13. Hey Guys, I shipped out 20 GPZ 19-inch coils within the last couple of days. I have more on the way. Many are in the field today with the coil, so I'm hoping for some great reports on the coil. I know several are at Rye Patch right now hitting old patches, some in CA, MT and a few others spots. Wising you all great success and Thanks for the business.
  14. Hello All, Just a FYI for all the customers that have pre-orders in the new 19-inch GPZ coil, a good portion shipped tonight and the overnight ones. The rest will ship tomorrow morning. I have a few more payments to collect, but those coils will ship within the next day or so once payment is received. I have just a few left, but have another small shipment on the way. $1500 MAP is the price with free shipping to you. Thanks!
  15. Hey Matt, Thanks for sharing the gold finds. Those are some beautiful pieces of gold. Wishing you many more patches and Happy Holidays!
  16. Hey Guys, Thanks for the comments. To date in that single patch I have found just over 60 Grams of gold that I missed with the GPX. I know it's hard to believe, but I pounded this place to the point you had to scratch, roll rocks or dig to find a nugget left behind. I'm going to return to this spot with the new 19-inch GPZ coil. Uncle Ron - We need to get a GPZ over some of your ground, 75-25% split? AuWanderer - Thanks Bud!
  17. Hey JP, Ya, running a business is not easy, especially when you work full time and have kids. I think we both are in the same boat. I agree, it was Minelab that contacted me, so I think the "Minelab Police" caught me!
  18. Hey Tortuga, When you going to post your recent ones? Congrats.
  19. Hey Matt, Not sure it was the same mine, as it's not owned by a Lady to my knowledge. The owner, and previous owner were both Men. We were up that way several years ago just for a day to check out the mine and head back home.
  20. Hey Guys, I was getting a bit rusty letting the Minelab GPZ 7000 sit around here, so figured it was time to knock off the dust and get back into the field with it. I figured I would just return to somewhere easy to get my body use to the GPZ once again. After about 4 hours of crawling around with the GPZ, I snagged these 7 nuggets. Not a whole lot of weight, but some great character in them. Total weight of all the nuggets was 3 Grams. Biggest is a Gram.
  21. Hey JP, Thanks for the reply. Just a FYI, I was asked "not to copy/paste" your information onto my forum. I apologize and hope you don't think I'm stealing the information, but thought it would be very helpful and informative here. You have always been a very honest and helpful person, so the majority of us value your shared information. Would love for your to contribute here if you ever have time. Hope all is well you and the family.
  22. Hello All, Just want to thank the ones that called and got some great deals on products. We will also be running a special for Cyber Monday, a few days away. That being said, for the guys still on the fence, the phone line is opne for another hour!!
  23. Hey Wes, Yep, that was the mine! My partner and I were fortunate enough to get the grand tour several years back from the owners and geologist. It was a full day worth, exploring the tunnels and listening to the mine geologist show us places were the nuggets in the picture were found. The maps we got to see, dating back to mid 1800's were worth the entire trip. The mine has been mapped dozens of times. Seeing some of the gold was also a bonus!! I have a lot of pictures, but was asked not to share them, so I have to respect the mine owners request.
