  1. Hello All, This year has been a banner year for us and we are proud to earn your business! We continue to hear all the time about dealers "bait and switching" items on them and other promises of items never received. We also hear probably 100 times throughout the year how "field training" is promised by dealers, but end up being conducted by third parties that have no experience with the unit they are training on. We also hear about how the "full day" of field instructions end up being less than an hour leaving the customer frustrated and untrained. We have built our reputation on trust and integrity and do what we say. If you want honest advice and endless support before, during and after your purchase, call us! We encourage anyone in doubt to call and ask questions on what they are getting, service and support before even thinking about buying. Call Rob anytime, or text me with quick questions at - 602.909.9008. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  5. Hey Steve, The Makro Gold Racer is being talked about more and more as the days go by. I'm getting tons of emails, phone calls and PM's on them. I have listed both units on my site, the Standard Package and the Pro-Package along with the searchcoils. I'm not sure of all the accessories that will be available out of the gate, but I'm working on getting them on the page also. The wireless headphones are being asked about also. Here is the Makro Page - http://www.robsdetectors.com/makro-metal-detectors-2?pagesize=12 Anyone looking for a Makro at the release date, please contact me ASAP. I'm taking pre-paid, paid in full orders now. The first units to show will go to all the pre-paid customers first! Here are a few Youtube videos on the Makro Gold Racer - Ray Mills filming Makro Gold Racer - Field Testing Keith Southern - Quick Run Down on the Unit -
  6. Hey Doc, No, don't have anyone off hand that has access to the X-Ray machine. I'm not sure there is that much gold to worry too much about it. I'm thinking a few ounces at the most, but then again you never know due to the size of the piece. I was trying to judge on the size of the gold inside by measuring the distance from the piece. The Goldbug Pro screams when you're close, but when you get about 6-8 inches away, the signal is very faint. With the GPZ, I can hear the target at a foot away, much more than that the signal really drops.
  7. Hey Doug, Great story and finds. Always nice when you have family that enjoys the same hobby. Congrats on the nuggets.
  8. Hey Guys, Thanks for the comments. Ya, since the update it seems like Normal is much more noisy than before. That being said, it seems like I'm getting better performance in Difficult than before also.
  9. Hello All, This weekend I managed to get out for a few hours, just enough to relieve the Christmas stress. All from an old patch as I was trying some different settings with the GPZ. All the nuggets were at great depths for being small gold. Biggest piece on the left is a Dwt, for a grand total of 3.1 Dwts of gold. No question this is the best detector to date I have ever used. Yes it's heavy (I don't use a bungee) and very expensive, but worth every penny in my eyes. P.S. Unfortunately no deals on the GPZ right now unless you're active or retired US Vet, but there is a great package on the GPX4500 + SDC 2300 Combo right now for $3,999.00. This is a hot seller right now and a savings of over $2400.00. Wishing you Happy Holidays!
  10. Hey In the Mountains, Congrats on your recent finds and sharing them with us here on the forums. Wishing you much more success with the GPZ.
  11. Hey Guys, I had a friend that now lives in my area come over with his GoldBug Pro and GoldBug. We scanned the quartz rock pretty well and found two hot spots. One is concentrated around the "vugs," but another hot spot on the other end of the piece. Still debating to break it open, or just leave it as more of a conversation piece. Customer seem to like the fact they can't see much visible gold, but can scan a detector over it and hear it scream! Speaking of fish tanks ..... We have a small 10 gallon fish tank. I tossed a nugget in the bottom on the white sand. It was only about 3-4 hours when my Daughter went to feed them, she yelled out "Dad, you put a gold nugget in the fish tank!" Hahaha .... She caught it right away. She said it might make them sick ....
  12. Hey Dave, That is correct, but the first customers that pre-order now will get them first. If you try to order in Jan, my guess is you will be waiting due to the demand of this unit right now.

The winding optimises the transmit and receive signals and therefore improves depth and sensitivity when compared to a standard wound similar sized coil. The ELITE range has next to no touch sensitivity, smooth stable operation and no abnormal external interference issues. Essentially they run smoother than any other standard coil on the market. Other brands have copied the innovation and claim to have the performance of the Coiltek however customer reviews and comments prove that the Coiltek ELITE coils are choice for performance, reliability and customer service from HQ and the dealers who work with the Coiltek Brand. The ELITE coils are wound with a high grade LITZ wire and care is taken with every coil to ensure overall consistency in performance. The new CAMO look is there to help improve the uniqueness of the coil and set it apart from the competition. The ultimate proof of the performance is in the customers’ reviews and success stories and they are too numerous to mention. Any detector operator with a SD / GP/ GPX machine could be missing out on Optimising Discovery if they are not swinging with the ELITE. We are offering a discount and FREE Shipping on all of the above coils.
  22. Hey Andy, You're very welcome. I think you're going to really like this coil (besides the color) as all others are having good success with it. I just received the other Elite's, the 11-inch Round and 17x11-inch Elliptical. Your other items shipped this morning Andy First Class Mail. You should get them tomorrow.
  23. Hey Jared, In my opinion, I would suggest trying to get in on some of these new bundles right now before Christmas if possible. You can get a top of the line Minelab GPX 4500 for $2699.00. Ya, this might be a bit more than your budget, but well worth it since this unit will go back to the normal MAP after Christmas. If you search hard enough, you will find a used SD or GP series, but you're talking from $800 - $1500 depending on unit, condition and accessories. Something to seriously consider is the fact none of these series can be worked on anymore from Minelab or a Minelab Contact Company. The parts are pretty much obsolete. The unit could last forever, or burn up the next flip of a switch. For the prices now on some of the newer units and the 3 year warranty, I would seriously consider that route.
  24. Hey Guys, Just posted the finds over on a new thread.
  25. Hello All, Recently a partner and I got to camp out overnight here in Arizona. We have been eye-balling a few new zones just outside of some very well known placer goldfields. Luck just happened to be on my side that day as I ended up scoring over 1/4 ounce of nice nuggets and one huge quartz specimen that is 50+ pounds in weight. The quartz specimen is a real screamer, but hardly any visible gold showing on the outside. On one side, where the target response is the loudest on the GPZ 7000, there are 4 vugs (cavities) in the quartz. After cleaning all the clay out of the vugs, we were able to see visible gold. Trying to decide if I should just leave it alone and allow others to listen to the response, or crack it open and see what is hiding inside ..... Why couldn't I just find a big specimen like that "spider-webbed" with gold veins! I was using the Minelab GPZ 7000 mostly in High Yield and Difficult Soil. The ground in this area was very red and mineralized.
